Trepat

Trepat is mostly known as the red grape responsible for the beautiful color of rose cava.  It is believed to be native of Catalunya, Spain, and since 2020 it is allowed to be used in the production of all cavas, not only rose.  It is also responsible for still red wines from Conca de Barbera, Costers de Segre, Murcia and Valencia, where it produces wines pale in color with aromas of red fruits and sweet baking spices.

Villa Conchi produces a 100% Trepat cava rose bursting with aromas of watermelon, strawberry and brioche, with a beautiful bright rose color.  This wine is perfect as an aperitif or paired with steamed mussels or light salads. Cheers!
