Gualtallary

Gualtallary is located in the Uco Valley on the foothills of the Andes, in Mendoza, Argentina. At nearly 5,000 feet above sea level, its extreme elevation provides intense sunlight and cool nights, resulting in grapes that ripen slowly and develop thick skins, sharp acidity, and concentrated flavors.  The soil is rich in calcium carbonate, giving the wines a marked minerality, while the region’s arid and windy climate preserves freshness and enhances aromatic complexity. Gualtallary is especially renowned for Malbec wines that burst with red fruit flavors, herbal notes, and refined tannins. It is as a place where altitude, soil, and climate combine to create some of Argentina’s most vibrant and character-driven wines.
